Officer Lewis begins his day with Officer Bob Hudson in Sydney, Australia, After a call about a disgruntled individual Jackson and Hudson are sent to investigate. Officer Hudson is killed by a bite to the neck.
Throughout the morning, random acts of violence appear across Australia. Victims are apparently being eaten. The Prine Minister Tony Brown orders a curfew and deploys the military to the streets, but this fails to control the infection.
Can Officer Jackson make it to Melbourne where there is one last-ditch attempt of getting out of the country? But more to the point, what caused the infection?
